My 9-year-old son is currently taking private guitar lessons with Jack at our home.  The lessons are well structured with a clear outline and goals.  Jack is an impressive musician and an experienced teacher who keeps my son engaged and entertained during the one-hour, weekly lesson.  The hour flies by before we know it!  This is a great sign when teaching a kid musician.  We appreciate Jack’s enthusiasm and readiness for each session.  He comes prepared with printed sheet music and ideas for teaching theory, strumming patterns, strumming exercises, and chords.  He is amazing at guiding lessons from a book as well as coming up with songs or teaching specific songs that my son is interested in learning.  Jack always gives 100% and cares about his students’ success.  Jack inspires my son to keep learning and, most importantly, keep practicing often so he is ready to show Jack what he has learned for the next lesson.
